One news anchor’s first day of live broadcast turned out way worse than any of the pessimistic scenarios he must have played in his mind. He went live just as he was not-so-quietly swearing to himself.

The fun part is that his co-anchor, Van Tieu, hears what he’s said and, though she fumbles a bit, she tries to act as if nothing happened.

It takes A.J. Clemente a few minutes to realize how badly he’s messed up.

The two work for KFYR, a Bismarck NBC affiliate.

Clemente lamented his debut on air on Twitter but, shortly afterwards, his account became inactive. I wonder if he’ll ever be back on air again after this.

If it’s any consolation, he’s getting plenty of sympathy online right now.
