This one is for the pros: when you hear the names of Soundcraft and Lexicon I am sure you're thinking absolute dedication for the better sounding audio. Well, not only these two brands have fought their way to top the elite places in the world-wide professional audio industry, but they have actually never stopped innovating and making our music sounding better.[admark=1]

Soundcraft is releasing three completely new mixing consoles these days; and this would be a nifty piece of news by itself. But these three consoles come in a better shape than ever (while still retaining the classic and highly-functional looks) and now are packing one more exquisite feature: they all sport in-board sound processing power from the legendary Lexicon.

The processor core is the AudioDNA unit found in both Lexicon and Digitech gear, even the most-revered Lexicon MX500 processor. All mixers and their new processors sport user settings store function, three parameter controls, tap tempo and 32 effects presets.

The Soundcraft FX16ii is in fact the highly-popular Spirit 16 console, now coming in a more professional look and working capability. The new Lexicon sound processor in the FX16ii sports 24-bit capabilities that will match seamlessly with the mixing console features: 26 channels with 16 direct outputs and 4 stereo returns.

The second piece of new gear is the Soundcraft EFX, which is the rejuvenated and whole-better version of the EPM mixer. This convenient and handy mixing console comes in either 8- or 12-channel configurations and is the perfect tool for an extremely wide range of applications. The Soundcraft EFX sports the highly-regarded GB30 mic preamp (designed by Graham Blyth) and now its new Lexicon-powered processing unit will make it even better.

Finally, the third Soundcraft mixer form the new series is the MFX, the upgraded version of the MPM console. It comes in three sizes, with 8-, 12- or 20-channel inputs. The addition of the lexicon processor makes it a very convenient match for a large variety of venues such as restaurants, theaters, small club installations or houses of worship.

The mixers in the Soundcraft new series can be easily integrated in racks by means of rack-ears accessories. Prices TBA.
