The Newcastle United football club and the FIFA development team at EA Sports have announced that they are extending a partnership for another two years, which will deliver benefits for fans of the football simulation series.
For the upcoming FIFA 13
, Newcastle United supporters will be able to download a special version of the game cover starring their best players.
The EA Sports Dugout will be available at the Sports Direct Arena during the most important matches of the season, giving fans a chance to pick up a controller and compete against each other.
A Pro Player Tournament at the training ground of the Premier League Club will be held to see which is the best FIFA player and EA Sports will also deliver match simulation content during the season.
A fans tournament will also be held in the popular Shearer’s Bar for the members of the Toon Army.
When the announcement was made, Dan Holman, who is the leader of product marketing at the United Kingdom division of EA Sports, has stated that, “We're delighted to be renewing our partnership with Newcastle United. We look forward to building on last year's success by developing a wide range of initiatives that fully engage and excite the supporters throughout the 2012/13 season.”

will be launched in Europe at the end of September. It will make the move across the Atlantic three days earlier and will be offered on all platforms, from home consoles and the PC to mobile devices.
