Some new screenshots with Palm's upcoming webOS 2.0 mobile operating system have just emerged into the wild, complemented by info on what appear to be new smartphones that will probably land on shelves with the OS on board.

We already had the chance to take a look at some shots with the upcoming mobile platform, which was also spotted in a video preview not too long ago.

However, according to a recent article on Engadget, we didn't see as of yet the new “'classic' and flip-style digital clocks” that seem to have been packed inside the new OS flavor, and this is exactly what we can look at in the photo attached to this article.

Some more shots with the new OS version are available out there, so head over to Engadget here to see and learn more on the matter.

In the meantime, we should take a look at the aforementioned Palm devices that should land on shelves in the following months.

Pre Central found two new Palm models listed over at TUV Rheinland, the P102UNA and the P102EWW, both of which received approvals related to OSHA/SCC standards last month.

Based on the fact that P101UNA and P101EWW models denominate the Pre Plus in both GSM and CDMA flavors, the emergence of these new model numbers can mean only that Palm is getting ready to launch two new webOS-based devices.

Moreover, it seems that these products should be related mainly to Pre Plus, since the other webOS phone from Palm, the Pixi Plus, sports model numbers P121UNA and P121EWW.

Little is known on these devices for the time being, but, based on the fact that previous models were announced officially about two months after receiving similar certification, we will probably have to wait a few months before more on this is made available.

Even so, we should note that Palm did promise before to launch the webOS 2.0 platform this year, followed by new handsets in early 2011, so keep an eye on this space for more on the matter.
