Sure you like comics. You may not be an avid collector of magazines, but you can always go ahead and read a few pages or glance over the nice graphics.

If you don't know where to start, the AppStore editor have curated a great collection of comics-related apps and games. You are invited to embark on an adventure with your favorite heroes, read fantastic com books and graphic novels, learn how to draw like the pros and create comic book-style collages using your own photos.

There are four main categories in this collection: "Reading," "Collecting," "Create Your Own," and "Games" with a total of 67 apps, games and books to choose from. First one up is the Official Comic-Con App. The San Diego Comic-Con International event started yesterday, so this app is a must-have for the fans that are joining it.

Another great one for the collectors is the "CLZ Comics - Comic Database Utilities." This app can help you catalog your comic collection on your iPad or iPhone. You can auto-download cover art, creators or characters. All you have to do is enter series titles or scan the barcodes with your iPhone camera.

If you do your Comics Reading on your iOS Devices, make sure you have one of the following apps. iBooks is the featured one, but the major players in this market have their official apps. You are going to find all the books from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Madefire Motion, Marvel Unlimited, Vertigo Comics, Dark Horse, Manga Rock and others.

All of the above are Free, but they do offer In-App Purchases for the actual Comic books. The usual price for older Comics is $1.99 (€1.49) and regular price for brand new ones is $3.99 (€2.99).

If you are a young artist looking to create your own Comics, there are a few great apps that will help you achieve that. "Halftone 2," "Comic Touch 2," "Strip Designer," and others have the tools to turn your photos into Comic strips, add captions, thought balloons and sound effects.

You can also get the so-called blank canvas apps that give you the pens and brushes to draw everything from scratch.

Last but not least, you have the comics-based books with the superheroes we all love. Spiderman, Batman, Captain America, The Avengers and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles open this category, but you can also find some funny ones like the Family Guy or He-Man.
