Sapphire, one of the main producers of ATI chipset video cards, has recently introduced a software solution aimed at optimizing graphic accelerator performances.

TRIXX finds out the optimum settings by incrementing memory speed, checking in the same time if the rendered image has artifacts. If it detects any, the speed
is decreased to a safe value.

The user can name and save the settings to use them at a later time.

TRIXX allows the choosing of different performance levels, taking into account the thermal conditions; the program can also control the speed of the fan, giving users the possibility of choosing between low noise settings, for standard performance, or Extreme performance when both the processor and memory operate at maximum safe speeds.

All the settings are accessible through a simple graphical interface which allows setting every option. Moreover, if the PC is connected to the Internet, TRIXX can check if there are any updates or new ATI drivers.

TRIXX only works with Sapphire cards and it will included in the video card packages starting with May.

I think it is quite good but has a few faults which need to be sorted out.
