Cell phone and iPod symbiosis

Another company that is going to be present at Macworld this year is Lenntek Corp., the one that created the Hookup Line of iPod accessories that allow your iPod and cell phone to work together like never before. Obviously, they are not going to be there to exhibit what everybody knows already, so prepare for something new. This is not a riddle, so let me tell you what you should expect to see when visiting Lenntek's booth at Macworld...

First, there's the Hookup-Lanyard, a device that you can see in the picture shown here. Its purpose is to connect your iPod and cell phone on a lanyard to allow you to easily toggle between listening to your favorite tunes and answering or making phone calls. Priced at 69.95$, the Hookup-Lanyard features an anodized aluminum body that is designed to match the second generation iPod nano and uses a wireless connection to get your player and cell phone together.

The second newcomer in Lenntek's family of products is the 179.99$ Hookup-Auto, a device able to connect your Bluetooth-enabled cell phone and your iPod to the car stereo system, in order to give you the chance to answer incoming calls hands-free. How is this possible? Easy: when you get an incoming call, the music is automatically paused, and once you finish the conversation, the music resumes the same way, without any additional user intervention. This car kit accessory comes with a hands-free device that includes a car charger and path cables, too.

These products that we will see at Macworld share their technologic solutions with the Hookup Original, the wireless receiver released earlier by Lenntek and priced at 129.99$ that can connect your cell phone and your iPod to enable you to switch between streaming music and answering phone calls.
