Leaks of new Mac model numbers appear to confirm an older discovery of six new Apple products in resellers' pipelines, AppleInsider reports. Dutch site OneMoreThing has provided what looks like a Mac mini box shot (pictured left), while French site MacBidouille claims Apple is releasing new iMacs and Mac minis as soon as today. Both desktop computers are to feature a model based on the NVIDIA design.

Of the six leaked model numbers, four SKUs ranging from MB417 to MB420 are allegedly new iMacs. Only one model would have a 20-inch screen, while the rest of the all-in-one systems would have 24-inch displays. The remaining two Macs are, of course, the minis. Model numbers MB463 and MB464 would represent low- and high-end versions of the updated computers. The source of leak pins the release as Tuesday, March 3 (today). The systems are said to ship almost immediately.

The Dutch site also claims to have some rough details of the systems' specifications, AppleInsider reports. Particularly, the iMacs would come with 2.66GHz, 2.93GHz and 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo processors, with 2GB of DDR3 memory for the base model and 4GB for the rest. The new iMacs would also boast support for up to 8GB of RAM, with a Mini DisplayPort connector to be found on the port front.

On the mini side, Apple's compact desktop systems would have the previously claimed five USB ports, FireWire 800 and Mini DisplayPort, and would start with a 2GHz Core 2 Duo, with 1GB and 2GB of memory respectively, and a minimum of 120GB storage (320GB for the more expensive model).

Specifications based on model numbers are listed as such:

iMac

MB417: "Entry-level" 20-inch with 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM

MB418: "Mid-range" 24-inch with 2.66GHz or 2.93GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM

MB419: "High-end" 24-inch with 2.93GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM

MB420: "Very high-end" 24-inch with 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM.

Mac mini

MB463: 2GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB of RAM, 120GB hard drive

MB464: Unknown Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM.

Lastly, AppleInsider points out that, although we're still dealing with a rumor, the details are highly consistent with Apple's own unintentional leaks.
