Right after launching a new iMac model for Education institutions, Apple promptly cut the shipping times for its all-in-one computers in the United States and Canada. Any iMac you order now will ship in under 24 hours.

Apple is getting a tight grip on its iMac supplies, as the company has been able to reduce the shipping times from weeks to hours in under a month.

Just a few days ago we reported that Apple’s iMac delivery quota had improved from 1-2 weeks to 3-5 days, and now the company is able to ship any configuration, big or small, in under 24 hours.

There’s a catch, though. You either have to live in the States, or Canada. The rest of the world has mixed shipping times. In Germany, for instance, Apple still ships these babies in about two weeks.
