It seems that Inno3D decided it was time to update its collection of CPU coolers, so it issued a press release in which it officially launched the iChill X5, iChill XXX and iChill Storm models.

The thing with CPUs is that, although they all come with their own cooler, users often find the need or preference for something more able in terms of heat dispersion.

This enabled companies like Inno3D to make a living off selling this sort of products, like the iChill series.

Now coming to expand said line are the iChill X5, iChill XXX and iChill Storm, all of which work on Intel Core i7, Core i5 and socket 775 central processing units, as well as AM3, 939 and AM2(+) processors from Advanced Micro Devices.

The iChill X5 (158 x 124 x 82 mm) can deliver airflow of 38 CFM, thanks to the fan size of 120 mm and the fan speed of 800 to 1,500 RPM (rotations per minute). It has a weight of 804 grams, a noise generation of 15-29 dBA and can handle chips of 200W TDP or lower.

The iChill XXX (127 x 110 x 87mm) has a 90mm fan with a rotary speed of 900-2000 RPM (airflow of 35 CFM), plus a weight of 556 grams. The other specs are the same as above, except for the CPU TDP support, which is of 120W or below.

Finally, the iChill Storm measures 120 x 94 x 58 mm (fan size of 90 mm) and weighs 410 grams, its fan speed being of 2,500 RPM. The air flow is of 40CFM and the noise of 19 dBA.

All three newcomers have a life of 40,000 hours and the Fluid Dynamic Bearing, plus support for PWM and 6-year warranties. Prices, unfortunately, were not mentioned by the official announcement.
