New Yorkers Get to See Three Not-Men Flying

Just when they thought they'd never see the day when man escaped gravity, New Yorkers got treated to the sight of three people gliding through the air.

Alas, rather than a dream come true, this was actually a marketing stunt to promote the movie “Chronicle”, which tells the story of three high school students who discover they have superpowers.

Thinkmodo Co-Founder James Percelay and his partner Michael Krivicka, upon being approached by 20th Century Fox, came up with the idea of what basically amounts to human-shaped airplanes.

If anything, it is definitely easy to mistake those planes for human beings, especially from afar. Too bad their batteries didn't last very long.

Check out the video for what might have been and may still become true in the future, assuming humanity finally discovers the limits of flesh are an illusion.
