14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new Yahoo! Finance app has been made available for handsets running under Google's Android operating system, adding to the list of other applications that Yahoo! already made available for the mobile platform.
The new software solution is meant to offer Android users fast access to “the No. 1 finance site in the U.S.,” being specifically designed to fit their handsets.
According to the company, “with Yahoo! Finance for Android, some of the great features customers get include:
- Real-time quotes - Customizable stock watch list - Access to Yahoo! Finance portfolios - Company stats and news - Tech Ticker videos”
At the same time, the company announced that the new software solution would be made available only for mobile phone users in the United States at launch, and that others would receive it soon after.
Moreover, Yahoo! notes that users should receive access to specific content depending on the market they are living in.
Those Android mobile phone users interested in the new application should head over to the Android Market to download it straight on their handsets.
As stated above, this is only one of the applications that Yahoo! released for Android, in addition to software solutions like Yahoo!, Yahoo! Movies, omg!, or Yahoo! Weather.
The first application, Yahoo!, offers users the possibility to easily find what they are looking for, while also enabling them to stay in touch with their friends and family easily, or to stay up to date with what's happening around the world.
