The Xbox One will get a brand new system software update in March, according to a new report coming from two different sources online.

The Xbox One came out back in November of last year, and Microsoft has pledged to continue improving the console’s software in a variety of key areas.

According to a new report from NeoGAF verified by The Verge, it seems that the first major firmware update for the Xbox One is going to debut in March.

The new dashboard version will fix the different issues affecting the Xbox Live online service as well as problems with the Party chat and the social mechanics of the next-gen console.

Unfortunately, neither source can say when the new Xbox One firmware update will be available for download, so expect to hear an official date from Microsoft in the future.
