Kim Allan, a 47-year-old mother of four from New Zealand continuously ran for 86 hours, 11 minutes and nine seconds to set a new world record. She beat Pam Reed's record from 2005 who ran 301 miles (484 kilometers), with 9 extra miles (14.5 kilometers).

The incredible runner completed 332 laps around Auckland Domain park from Auckland, New Zealand after going through three days with no sleep. The woman started her world record-breaking run at 6am on Thursday and passed the previous line of 301 miles on Sunday at 6pm, continuing the extra miles walking until 8pm, notes Daily Mail.

The cheering supporters from the park didn't tell the ultra-distance runner when she passed the milestone, encouraging her to go on. The 47-year-old tried to break the record last year as well but didn't succeed because of stomach problems and incredibly painful blisters.

The mother of four decided to embark on the incredible journey in order to raise money for New Zealand's Spinal Trust, and even with horribly blistered feet, she ran towards her goal. Supporters stayed with her at all times running along in turns and keeping her company for the whole three days.

Overwhelmed and exhausted after the amazing performance, the woman thanked all of those present in the park, before being taken home and cared for by her proud family. When she crossed the finish line, Kim hugged her daughter and embraced the joy of her cheering fans.

After more than 86 hours of running, the record setter admitted that she could not fully process the fact that she had actually met her goal. “I haven't processed this yet, I cannot believe I have, so I haven't processed it really and I haven't slept for four days. I am really glad I've done it and don't have to do it again,” Ms. Allan said, notes Daily Mail.

Kim was a professional jockey and started long distance running after breaking her leg and needing rehabilitation. The former record was set in 2005 by Pam Reed and included 301 miles in a little more than 80 hours.
