With the World Cup set to kick off in Brazil in a matter of weeks, many enthusiasts will certainly be interested in means to stay up to date with info from the event at all times, and the newly released World Football App can prove one such solution for the owners of Android devices.

The software was pushed to the Google Play Store with support for all devices running under 2.3.3 and up, and is available in both free and paid versions.

With this application installed on their devices, users will be able to stay on top of news coming from Brazil, including articles and updates.

“World Cup News provides you most beautiful way to follow the news from the football world cup in Brazil 2014. Get the latest news articles, videos and social media updates about the event,” the application’s description reads.

The latest flavor of the app, namely version 1.4, was made available for download with video, Twitter and Instagram support, the release notes unveil.

One thing that users need to keep in mind, however, is the fact that the software is not associated with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
