Microsoft is expected to release a new build of Windows 10 in the coming weeks, but until that happens, here are some new screenshots of an unreleased version that has only recently been compiled by the development team.

Windows 10 build 10120 comes with small refinements in terms of looks, which could be a sign that we're getting closer to the final product that's expected to arrive this summer.

These screenshots posted by Russian leaker WZor show that Microsoft is yet to rename Project Spartan to Edge in this build, although work on the new browser has continued.

The blur effect in the Start menu is still there and probably enabled by default, making the dark theme look even better on the desktop.

There's also a new “Get started” app pinned to the Start menu, which is most likely a tool that will present the new features of Windows 10 and help you get around the operating system.

Next release expected to be 1012x

There's no information available about the next version of the Windows 10 preview for Windows insiders, but rumor has it that Microsoft is looking at a 1012x build for both fast and slow rings.

This new build could be one of the last we get before the public release of the operating system in the summer of 2015, as Microsoft is said to be very close to completing work on Windows 10 and signing off the new product.

Speculation swirling around the web these days suggests that July 22 is the scheduled signing off date for Windows 10, with the public launch to take place one week later or in early August.

Obviously, all these rumors should be taken with a pinch of salt until Microsoft officially reveals all details, but there's no doubt that we're getting very close to the moment when Windows 10 finally gets the go-ahead.
