Just in case you missed Jessica Simpson’s tweet that confirms she’s pregnant with her second child, her brand new, extended ad for Weight Watchers should do the trick. Check it out below, embedded at the end of the article.

An extended version of the second commercial since Jess signed as spokesperson for the weight loss program is out.

Besides confirming that Simpson is pregnant again (she says so herself), it also puts to rest all those rumors that the unplanned pregnancy has put the business partnership in mortal danger.

Clearly, Weight Watchers is willing to continue with Jessica as spokesperson even though she’s off the program until the baby is born.

“Being healthy has become a part of who I am, which is great timing, because I’m having another baby!” Simpson gushes in the ad.

It also includes a disclaimer about how pregnant women can’t be on the program, which means that Jessica isn’t anymore either.

In fact, the weight loss company confirms this for TMZ, saying that the former pop singer “will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician.”

However, after she gives birth, Simpson is expected to go back on the program.

“Congrats to @JessicaSimpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell! Your WW family is so thrilled for you. What an amazing year you've had!” Weight Watchers tweeted.

Considering that Simpson was reportedly paid a whopping $3 million (€2.26 million) to sign with Weight Watchers and promote the program while she also got back in shape, it only makes sense for the company to not want to discontinue the collaboration just because she’s pregnant again.

As we also reported earlier today, Simpson confirmed the rumors that had been making the rounds for almost a month with a photo of her daughter Maxwell playing in the sand – and the words “big sis” underneath her little feet.
