Microsoft has just deployed a brand new batch of entertainment apps on its Xbox Live online service for the Xbox 360, while announcing a big new partnership with Orange TV for gamers living in France.

Microsoft is staying true to its word by turning the Xbox 360 into a proper entertainment hub through strategic partnerships with lots of TV content providers and releasing a steady stream of applications to make it easy for owners of the console to enjoy this new content.

We’ve already seen quite a lot of apps be made available right when the new dashboard with the TV on demand functionality premiered earlier this month, while a new wave of applications appeared last week.

Now, Microsoft has deployed yet another bunch of apps on its Xbox Live online service, which will be available across a variety of territories and countries, so check out the list below.

• 4 on Demand (C4). United Kingdom • ABC iView (Australian Broadcasting Corp.). Australia • Dailymotion. Available in 34 countries globally • Demand 5 (Five). United Kingdom • M6. France • MSN Video. France • UFC on Xbox LIVE (UFC). Canada, United States • VUDU (Wal-Mart). United States Dailymotion will be available in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, India, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland , Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States, South Africa.

What’s more, for French Xbox 360 owners, Microsoft has confirmed that a new partnership has been made between it and Orange, which will enable over thirty Orange TV channels to be viewed on the console.

“Orange TV is coming to Xbox LIVE in France, starting in Spring 2012,” Microsoft said. “Thirty Orange TV channels will initially be available, including the major channels available in the French market. Later in the year, “catch-up” TV and Orange’s video on demand catalog will also be available.”

Bear in mind, however, that most of these apps require an Xbox Live Gold account to be used not to mention a reliable internet connection.
