Nimbuzz has just announced a new partnership with VoX Communications, a cloud-based communications solutions, apps and services provider, for the release of a new Voice over IP application named VoX Mobile Out for Android.

A Pervasip Corp.wholly-owned subsidiary, VoX Communications is the first US-based premier partner that integrates its cloud-based SIP mobile calling software with Nimbuzz.

The new application seems to be a cheaper solution for those relying on Mobile VoIP solutions to communicate. In a recent market research conducted by In-Stat, the company estimates that the number of Mobile VoIP users will approach 300 million by 2013. This means that the new application cannot be considered a niche solution anymore.

Pervasip Chief Information Officer, Mark Richards, noted, “We are very excited to become the first US-based premier partner to integrate our cloud-based SIP mobile calling software with Nimbuzz.”

“A smooth and easy download, people appreciate having a phone line from VoX, which gives them a second phone number, a second voice mail box and low-priced VoIP calling plans that run over both the 3G and WiFi data networks. We see reports of daily sales for approximately 200,000 Android phones,” Richards added.

VoX Mobile Out for Android has been launched along with a $4.95 per month unlimited voice calling plan.

“We believe the service will be a great success given its relevance to the increasingly savvy and demanding US mobile phone market and dramatic uptake of Android devices,” said Evert Jaap Lugt, CEO, Nimbuzz.

The new partnership follows last week's announcement from Skype that it “withdraws” from Nimbuzz's VoIP calling application. To ensure its losses will be at minimum, Nimbuzz made some attractive offers to its users, a 15% bonus credit to use on NimbuzzOut, as well as cheaper calls for mobile phone and landlines in 45 countries for only 2 cents per minute.
