Ever since it surfaced for the first time a few days ago, the Nexus One managed to catch everybody's attention. The handset was said to be the long rumored Google Phone that many enthusiasts are waiting for to make an appearance, and a wide range of rumors regarding its launch, availability, branding and pricing already emerged. This time around, new videos with the device are available, though still short ones, and we've also learned that the phone has already seen support in a PC syncing solution, DoubleTwist.

The new videos that can be seen with the Nexus One phone come from thenexusone.com, and one of them is showing the handset's boot animation (start-up screen), while the other is focusing a little on its homescreen. The boot-up animation of Nexus One already emerged in two videos we've seen the past two days, and now one more is here for your viewing pleasure.

The other interesting news that we've learned today is that the desktop sync software DoubleTwist now features support for the handset. The application has just received a minor update, and its release notes show that the aforementioned support is now here: - Integrated Amazon MP3 music store. Currently only users with a U.S. credit card can purchase from the store. - You can now re-import your iTunes or Windows Media Player playlists (in the Preferences dialog). - Support for the Nexus One Android phone.

Considering the large amount of rumors and reports on Nexus One, the inclusion of support for the handset in DoubleTwist might not come as a surprise for some, but it is something one needs to take into consideration, it seems. After all, it might not be too long before the handset becomes official, and rumors on its launch during the first week of January will prove true. The Nexus One, be it the Google Phone or not, will certainly prove to be a very appealing device, not only due to the Android 2.1 platform, but also due to its looks.
