After revealing the first details about the multiplayer modes in Kid Icarus: Uprising, Nintendo has now presented a short video demonstration that shows off gameplay from the two modes that will be playable both online and locally.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is among the few big games that will appear for the 3DS in the first half of next year so Nintendo is doing everything it can to promote it.

After getting to see a gameplay video earlier this month and hearing details about its multiplayer, Nintendo now has a fresh video, via Sidemission, that presents the versus and Battle Royale modes.

As you can see above, while the versus mode focuses on two teams of three characters, one representing light, the other dark, it has quite a lot of depth, with players being able to choose and upgrade their weapons.

For those who don’t like playing as a team, however, the Battle Royale will provide some hectic experiences, as you can see in the video above.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is expected to appear in Japan, at least, on March 22 only for the Nintendo 3DS.
