Nexus 5, the latest Google phone out there, comes to the market with a rather interesting front glass, digitizer, and LCD setup, which requires replacing all three in case one breaks, but a new video shows us how users can do this on their own.

Available courtesy of LE55ONS, the video was meant to show you how to repair the phone’s screen or replace its case in the event that you need to.

As the video embedded above shows, disassembling the smartphone is not that complicated, though you might not need to tear the entire device to pieces if you only need to repair its screen.

Replacement parts for the device can be purchased online by those who would like to take care of their Nexus 5 devices on their own, as ETrade Supply notes. However, they should know right from the start that the process will void warranty.
