A brand gameplay video that showcases the new maps that will be included in Call of Duty: Black Ops' Escalation DLC has just been released by Treyarch and Activision, the developer and publisher of the title, respectively.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is still one of the most played games across all of its platforms, including PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 or even the Nintendo Wii, so Treyarch and Activision are keen on increasing its popularity with new content.

After the First Strike map pack appeared back in February for the Xbox 360 and in March for the PlayStation 3 and PC, the two companies are getting ready the second DLC, in the form of the Escalation pack.

Now, a new video has been released by Treyarch, which highlights the four new competitive multiplayer maps, as well as the bonus zombie scenario which will be included in the new DLC.

"In multiplayer, battle it out in Hotel, on the roof of a Cuban luxury hotel and casino against the vivid backdrop of old Havana; Convoy delivers intense, close-quarters combat at the scene of an ambushed US military convoy; Zoo takes you on a wild ride in an abandoned Soviet Russian Zoo, with danger at every turn; Stockpile pits players in a remote Russian farm town housing secret WMD facilities. For Zombies fans, 'Escalation' features a unique Zombies experience," Activision revealed.

Treyarch is quite pleased with the upcoming DLC pack, as not only are the multiplayer maps all-new and filled with interesting features, but the Call of the Dead zombie level also "features a unique Zombies experience with all-new playable characters."

Call of Duty: Black Ops gets the Escalation DLC on May 3, as a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360, while PC and PlayStation 3 owners might receive the new map pack around June.
