You can’t go out of the house today until you update Instagram and Vine on your iPhone. What if something exciting happens and these apps crash on you when you’re capturing the next viral thing?

So before you hook up with your friends to fall on your skateboards or whatever it is that you kids do today, do consider updating Vine and Instagram. Even though they’re offered by rival companies, both have equal places in our hearts.

Vine version 1.4.3 “includes improvements to stability and performance,” which can mean anything from shooting to uploading online. Any issues you may be experiencing with the Twitter-owned app can be mentioned at [email protected] and @vinehelp, according to the developers.

Instagram 4.2.5 is also a maintenance release. It has “bug fixes and other improvements.” They're really short for words since the acquisition by Facebook.
