The update includes bug fixes and new game options

Developer Mojang and Microsoft announce that the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft is set to soon get an update which will fix a number of game issues while also adding a some new options and recipes.

The list of new options includes the ability to clear the quick select bar in the creative interface, toggle the Heads Up Display on or off and enable bedrock fog.

The game will also get recipes for Golden Apples and Pumpkin Seeds and cakes will be stackable from now on.

The development team is also adding new pages to the Host and Player options in order to give gamers more information on how they can be used.

Microsoft has not offered a clear launch date for the Xbox 360 version of the Minecraft update.

Mojang has recently deployed a PC based pre-patch for the game designed to fix two serious issues.
