Antec's come up with plenty of interesting PC cases over the years, and now, the company's back with yet another interesting addition to its Sonata line of Quiet Computing enclosures, namely the Sonata IV model.

According to Antec, this particular PC case is their first to come equipped with an 80 PLUS certified 620-watt power supply with 120 mm double ball bearing low-noise fan, while in the same time, the enclosure offers users an USB 3.0 front panel port for faster data transmission and redesigned front bezel intake, designed to maximize the available air flow.

Speaking of airflow, it's also interesting to mention that the Sonata IV comes equipped with one rear 120 mm TriCool 3-speed switch control exhaust fan, as well as a built-in washable air filter for quick and easy cleaning in just about any conditions.

Of course, the case also offers plenty of space for components, including eight drive bays (three external 5.25” drive bays, four internal 3.5” drive bays, and one internal 2.5” drive bay) that utilize a hard drive bay rail system with vibration-absorbing silicone grommets.

“The original Sonata was the first ever chassis / power supply combination designed from the ground-up as a ‘Quiet Computing’ solution. The market response has been outstanding as it and its successors have repeatedly garnered top reviews and sales records,” said Scott Richards, senior vice president of Antec.

“The Sonata IV is a re-design that takes every attribute to a new level commensurate with today’s Quiet Computing needs, and offers PC enthusiasts and system integrators the top-notch solution they’ve come to expect from Antec’s Sonata line,” Mr. Richards concluded.

The Sonata IV mid-tower PC case from Antec is available as we speak for an estimated price of $199.95, which is actually pretty OK, all things considered.
