Genius just announced its latest development- the SP-i201U, 2-piece USB speakers - part of the USB speaker line-up, informs Hardware News.

Genius representatives said that by usage of an enhanced high-efficiency digital class-D IC, the sound is much clearer with bass enhancement and minimal distortion, the solution being, in fact, a revolution of the common analog solutions commercialized on the specialized market.

Furthermore, for an easy access of the USB speakers, the manufacturer added the volume fine-tuning button on the front panel. The representatives said that this is another innovation,
but other producers already introduced such front-access buttons such as Logitech or Creative.

"There's also a headphone jack for private listening and a line in jack with extra stereo audio cable for listening or sharing MP3 or other stereo devices. Installation is easy; just plug and play your favorite songs, watch movies, or make a private multimedia presentation through the USB cable without the need for an additional power supply," said Genius officials cited by Hardware Zone.

Genius launched last month, during Computex, a wide range of products, most of them targeting the gaming segment.

Consequently, the manufacturer showcased wireless laser optical mice with password verification and up to 15-month battery life, ergonomic keyboard to play games with mouse, comfortable headset for on-line games, mini racing wheels for children, and a mini pad with retractable cable for notebook travel. For game consoles, one arcade stick for PS2, and two force feedback racing wheels, with one for PS2 & PC, and the other for PS2 & Xbox & PC.

The Navigator 805 mouse has 1600 dpi laser tracking power and can work up to 10 meters, includes a security password function and has a power saving switch. The Navigator 900 Pro uses Bluetooth technology and can be used up to 10 meters away, as the dongle can connect up to seven devices conveniently. On the other hand, the professional laser gaming mouse - the Navigator 535 Agama has a trendy cloth cable, uses a switch to adjust the resolution (2000/1600/800 dpi), includes four programmable keys and can save up to five game profiles.
