The third installment of “The Twilight Saga,” “Eclipse,” is due out in theaters this summer, but Summit Entertainment is already setting the ball in motion with promotion for it. This is actually good news for the fans, who now get a fresh batch of movie stills, most of them showing Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) making out, as AceShowbiz can confirm.

One of the stills included in the fresh batch had made its way on the Internet a while back, but the others are brand new. They seem to have been taken from two distinct scenes, one taking place in the bedroom and showing Edward and Bella kissing, while the other takes place in a meadow, among flowers and also shows the two main protagonists kissing. An entirely different still is also included, showing Edward being trapped by Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) and her latest acolyte (Xavier Samuel).

“More pictures from ‘The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse’ have been found by RobsessedPattinson, sharing other steamy scenes which involve Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Captured with the similar meadow background used in the previously released images, two of the new photos see the on-screen lovers holding hands and embracing each other,” AceShowbiz says of the stills just emerged.

Directed by David Slade (“30 Days of Night,” “Hard Candy”), the third film in the “Twilight” series continues the very popular story of vampire Edward and his mortal girlfriend Bella, based on Stephenie Meyer’s novels with the same name. After the reconciliation that took place in “New Moon” and that brought Edward back at Bella’s side, vouching never to leave her again, new perils await her as Victoria is coming back to finish what was started in the first film, “Twilight.”

Despite members of the cast and unnamed sources promising that “Eclipse” would have more action scenes as compared to “New Moon,” these recently released stills show, beyond any doubt, that fans of the films looking for some romanticism have not been forgotten either.
