A new trailer for the upcoming “The Amazing Spider-Man,” the fourth film on the beloved superhero that will hopefully reboot the franchise, has just been released.

The new film will take place before the other 3, telling the story of a Peter Parker / Spider-Man who is still in high school.
His love interest is not Mary Jane anymore. At the same time, the chronology allows the film to use another actor for the lead, Andrew Garfield instead of Tobey Maguire.
The new trailer offers a much better look at the villain, Dr. Curt Connors / The Lizard (Rhys Ifans), but also a better look at Spider-Man suit, which, as promised, is more evolved, more complex, way techy-er than ever before.
“The Amazing Spider-Man” is out in theaters in 3D in April 2012.
