New Trailer for 'Lock-Out' Explains Plot, Brings Humor to the Table

Guy Pearce is taking on roles that would make Chuck Norris proud. His latest action movie effort is coming out in April 2012 and has just gotten a brand new trailer – and possibly a new title as well.

As we also informed you a short while ago when the first teaser came out, “Lock-Out” seems to play like “Taken” in space. The latest trailer offers more details on the plot.

Pearce plays a man wrongly accused of treason, who is sent on a rescue mission to a very tough prison facility, now in the midst of an inmate riot, MS One.

The President's daughter was there at the time the riot broke and, obviously, there's only one man who can bring her back.

This offers Pearce plenty of occasions to play the wisecracker and offer ridiculous, albeit funny, one-liners such as “Here's an apple and here's a gun. Now go and don't talk to strangers.”

Either way, even if some special FX seem rather low-budget, “Lock-Out” or “MS One Maximum Security” seems like a pretty entertaining ride. Check out the trailer above.
