TOLIS Group, Inc. is a privately held corporation from Scottsdale, Arizona that has the purpose to develop and support ultra- reliable data backup and restore solutions for end-users and OEMs, based on its BRU technology. I don't have to tell you stories about it, since knowing that the BRU technology is being used by NASA to protect the irreplaceable and priceless data streaming-in from the Mars and Saturn projects is more than enough. Since Macworld is an excellent opportunity for releasing new products, TOLIS couldn't miss that, and they will announce today two new products: bruCLONE and BRU Producer's Edition. Pricing is not available yet, but you can check later today the company's website for this and, of course, visit their Macworld booth (it's S1244, just so that you know) and ask for all the details you may be interested in. bruCLONE is a new disk cloning tool for Mac OS X desktop systems that is able to create bootable exact copies of OS X hard drives, featuring live system disk cloning, comprehensive coverage, CLONE Watch clone reminder technology, a disaster recovery tool and incremental updating of the existing disk images. bruCLONE can be used for standalone systems, but can be deployed to support workgroups as well. BRU Producer's Edition for Mac is designed to help people working in the music and film industries to create session archives, regardless of their computer knowledge. Native application files such as Logic, Final Cut Pro, Sonic Studio and many others can be dragged into PE and archived. What can you ask to make it easier than that?
