New information about the upcoming game from
Activision, Tony Hawk's Project 8, have come out.
The information is about the multiplayer mode of the upcoming game.
As a throwback to earlier versions, the two-only player Horse and Graffiti modes are back. In Graffiti mode, areas are tagged with your skateboards' color until another player manages to get a high enough score to claim them.
Trick Attack, Combo Mambo, Score Challenge and Combo Challenge will also be present in Tony Hawk's Project 8. What is new in the game is called Walls, a highly competitive mode where every participant leaves a solid trail behind him as they skate, for players behind him to crash into them. This new feature seems strange but it will require some skating skill.
The game is scheduled for release on November 7 in US and on October 27 in Europe. It will be supported by almost every platform available at the current moment, even on some that have not been launched so far.
PlayStation2, Xbox and PSP players will be able to enjoy the game on their favorite platform.
Rumors that Tony Hawk's Project 8 will come out on PS3 also came out but have not been confirmed by the games' developer Neversoft.
