New Tomb Raider Video Introduces the Fast Travel and Upgrade Mechanics

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have just revealed a brand new video with their upcoming Tomb Raider game, this time showing off mechanics like the fast travel or the upgrade one for weapons.

The new Tomb Raider title reboots the series in terms of story but also in terms of gameplay, as the new game will see Lara try to survive after being shipwrecked on an island filled with all sorts of dangers.

We already got to admire quite a few videos with the game, some detailing the story, while others focused on the multiplayer mode.

Now, episode 2 of the Guide to Survival web series has appeared, this time taking a look at how players can fast travel between previously visited locations, as well as how they can upgrade their abilities and weapons, and how these things can unlock pieces of the map that were previously inaccessible.

The new Tomb Raider game is out on March 5 but, until then, you can check out the brand new video above.
