The upcoming Tomb Raider reboot might feature a multiplayer mode, as a new listing from retailer Game in the UK suggests that people can play either as Shipmates of protagonist Lara Croft or as the evil Scavengers of antagonist Yamatai.

Developer Crystal Dynamics is set to completely reboot the long-running Tomb Raider series with a younger version of its protagonist, Lara Croft, and a grittier story of her being shipwrecked on an island.

Now, besides the single-player mode, the game might actually feature a multiplayer experience, as a listing for the title from retailer Game, via AGB, details an online mode.

"Survive as a Team: Play a variety of multiplayer modes as Lara’s Shipmates or Yamatai’s Scavengers," the listing, which has since been removed, said.

As of yet, Crystal Dynamics hasn't revealed anything about the game's multiplayer, so expect to hear some official details in 2013, as we get closer to the release of the title on March 5.
