14 DAY TRIAL // A brand new The Last of Us gameplay video has appeared online, this time focusing on the scavenging and crafting mechanics that are found within the survival experience.
The Last of Us is the next big survival experience from Naughty Dog, and development on it was completed last week.
Now, the studio has begun promoting the game more aggressively and has just posted a special gameplay video that presents two of the core mechanics from The Last of Us – scavenging and crafting.
Joel, the main protagonist, and his companion Ellie can explore the environment and pick up all sorts of different resources, including blades, bindings, rags, alcohol, explosives, and much more.
They can then choose what they want to make with the things they find, as they can craft offensive weapons, like shivs or Molotov cocktails, or defensive ones, like med kits.
The next video in the series will talk about combat in the game, so look forward to its release soon, ahead of the game's June 14 launch on PS3.
