While most games allow you to wield one or maybe two weapons at a time, in the upcoming The Darkness 2 from Digital Extremes and 2K Games, players will be able to perform quad-wielding, with two weapons and two Darkness powers.
Seeing as how the first title didn't really perform all that well, the two companies want to deliver a more
over the top sequel, showcasing the full supernatural power of protagonist Jackie Estacado.
While that promise is nice enough, fans are waiting for some concrete proof, before jumping in and pre-order. Thankfully, that moment has finally arrived, as a special trailer showcasing the quad-wielding powers is certain to make people fall in love with the new title.
As you can see above, besides wielding two weapons, players can also use two demon arms to hack, slash and shoot their way through enemies.
The Darkness II is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 7, 2012, in North America, and February 10, in Europe.
