Google AdWords is one of the most popular services provided by Google, allowing you to increase your website's number of visitors by placing ads on Google index. All you need to do is to register for the service, fill in the keywords and when somebody searches Google with your keywords, Google will also display your ad.
Because the service is so popular, the search giant tries to improve it periodically by including new interesting features to attract customers. As Matt Cutts - Google engineer says, the
search giant performs multiple tests with random users because they must know if the feature is useful or not.
This time, the test concerns Google AdWords and it is related to the information provided by AdWords Console. Search Engine Roundtable posted a message on their official blog to announce that a user reported a new feature in the service's console. The Quality Score feature is now included and helps you view information about your keywords' relevancy. Search Engine Roundtable also posted the screenshot sent by the user that is also available at the beginning of this article.
"The Quality Score column displays your keyword's Quality Score to help you monitor your keyword relevance. This is a customizable column that is disabled by default for new accounts. It can be enabled at any time.
Each keyword will be labeled with one of three possible Quality Score states: Great, OK, or Poor. Your ads may be performing effectively and with lower costs if your keywords have Great or OK Quality Scores. However, keywords with a Poor Quality Score may need to be replaced with more specific keyword choices. If you don't want to replace poor quality keywords, you can try optimizing their associated ad text and landing pages," the search giant says about the Quality Score feature.
