With this latest TV spot, it really looks like the apes are rising to power. After last year, some sneak peeks offered glances at what was going to be a struggle between men and apes in the wake of a deadly virus outbreak, today we get some understanding of the conflict.

Caesar, the leader of the apes with the genetically enhanced brain that leads the primate rebellion in the first part of the reboot, takes on the role to lead his simian troops to victory over men and thus become the dominant species on the planet.

A voice can be heard saying in the short clip, “You know the scary thing about them?" while the voice-over continues, “They don't need power. Lights, heat - nothing. That's their advantage. That's what makes them stronger.”

However, the smart apes have evolved to grasp primitive human practices such as domesticating horses, which they use to wage war against the feeble humans to struggle to stand their ground. Matt Reeves takes on the director's chair to deliver the sequel to this sci-fi classic reboot.

The battle announces itself to be epic and is going to kick off on July 11, 2014, in cinema theaters across the Globe.
