Nintendo has confirmed that it’s going to release three downloadable content packs for its New Super Mario Bros. 2 platformer on the 3DS today, October 3, in Europe, and tomorrow, October 4, in North America.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 delivered a pretty intense and coin-filled experience back in August when it appeared on the 3DS.

Nintendo soon confirmed that it was going to release special paid DLC for the game, in the form of new stages for its Coin Rush mode.

Now, after releasing such DLC in Japan, the company has confirmed that three stages will soon be available for purchase via the console’s eShop.

The first add-on is the Gold Rush Pack, which tasks players with collecting 30,000 coins. The second DLC is the Coin Challenge Pack A, which focuses on talented players whose high scores will be displayed on the game’s website.

The third DLC is the Nerve-Wrack Pack, which should deliver the game’s “toughest challenge yet”, as players are in for trickier levels and more aggressive opponents.

The three packs can be purchased for $7.5/€7.5 as a bundle or for $2.5/€2.5 each today, October 3, in Europe, and tomorrow, October 4, in North America.
