All you need to do is set up the macros and key layout and click on “save”

Another week, another gaming peripheral, and it looks like SteelSeries is particularly active this month, since the Sensei RAW Na'Vi Edition gaming mouse isn't the only thing that came out of its labs recently.

Looking at the name, some might immediately say that as far as homages to James Cameron's 3D film “Avatar” go, the Sensei RAW Na'Vi Edition gaming mouse isn't all that obvious.

It lacks any sort of blue, for one, being colored a mixture of black and yellow instead. Also, the splotches on the mouse aren't really graceful.

But the point is moot, because the Na'Vi race isn't what SteelSeries was thinking of. Instead, the Na'Vi in the name comes from the Na'Vi (Nasus Vincere) Ukrainian e-Sports multigaming club. SteelSeries collaborated with them on the new edition of the Sensei RAW.

"We are a proud sponsor and supporter of Team Na'Vi and look forward to offering their fans and the community the mouse that they have helped to design, from its original hardware features all the way to the new design of their team edition," said Marc Winther Kristensen, SteelSeries' Sponsorship Manager.

Sensei RAW Na'Vi Edition has a scroll wheel, team logo and CPU indicator that glow yellow (thanks to LED illumination).

The SteelSeries Engine software is, naturally, shipped along with the peripheral. Unlike other mice, which try to rely on integrated cache memory, this one does its thing via the software suite. The key functions can be customized, and the number of profiles that can be stored is unlimited.

It won't really matter to the common man, but professional gamers might find it useful to need just one mouse click or switch press to instantly reconfigure their mouse when changing from one game to another.

As for the rest, the mouse possesses XL-sized glides and a 2m/6.5ft anti-tangle black and yellow braided nylon cord. Sales should have already started for $69.99/€69.99.
