The update will be automatically downloaded the next time you start Steam

A new Steam client update is now available for download, as Valve has decided to fix some of the different issues that are currently causing the program to crash in certain situations.

Steam has been around for over 10 years now and Valve is busy developing it into new directions, like with the SteamOS that was revealed yesterday.

Now, the company has confirmed that a new Steam update can be downloaded by users, fixing quite a few issues surrounding downloads and crashes, but also errors relating to the Big Picture mode.
