The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly has a major surprise in store for all Trekkies and J.J. Abrams fans, and all I can say about it right now would sound very much like, OMGdfsejshadojjdpsajrire!!!!
Not only does the mag offer new photos from what is, without a doubt, one of the hottest releases of the year, “Star Trek Into Darkness,” but it also brings interviews with the director and members of the cast.
For the time being, the preview includes just the pics (two of which you can see in the gallery below) and the promise that lots of secrets will be revealed once the issue is out at newsstands.
Directed by J.J. Abrams, “Star Trek Into Darkness” is the sequel to 2009’s “Star Trek,” bringing together the old cast again (Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban) and the new addition, the exquisite and talented Benedict Cumberbatch.
You can see Benedict doing an awesome fierce gaze in the first photo. As the saying goes, I pity the fool those redshirts, you just know they’re in a world of trouble now.
