The sixth season of the highly popular medical drama “House M.D.” will premiere on the small screen on September 21 and, given this means there’s less than a month to go until then, it’s no wonder fans are growing impatient. And they have every reason to be so, Michael Ausiello of The Ausiello Files says, because this season will certainly blow them away.

For those not in the know, Ausiello is one of the most reliable inside sources when it comes to television, having access not only on the sets of the most hyped series of the moment but also plenty of contacts to get him to the stars, producers and directors themselves. With this in mind, Ausiello is saying that someone from House’s team, someone fans know very well and love, will be fired in the first three episodes. Of course, he names no names.

Another drastic lifestyle change that Gregory House will have to make, aside from getting used to his temporary residence (the mental institution he enters willingly at the end of the previous season) is living with Wilson. Ausiello says he has it as a certainty that House will move in with his best friend – at his house – once he walks out of the asylum, and fans must know what that means: plenty of sparkling brilliant dialog and boyish hoaxes perhaps.

As regards the Cameron-Chase couple, who are now married, as fans must know, they will also be making a grand return to “the trenches,” Aussiello says after speaking to the two actors playing them. There might be, however, a problem in the fact that they’re married since Cameron has always been very protective of House and working with him again will not make Chase happy. In other words, this will put “some strain on the marriage,” as Jennifer Morrison explains.

“They are both thrown back into their old jobs. It’s been great actually. I have been working a lot and there are things that happen to House very early in the season that have a domino effect on all of the other characters. This season starts a few months from where we left off last season in the finale and Chase and Cameron are finding their groove as a married couple.” Morrison tells Ausiello, adding that fans will be surprised to see producers have taken season 6 of the series “up a notch.”
