After seeing some leaked details about the Wii U GamePad functionality baked into Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft has now posted an actual gameplay video with the game running on the Wii U.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist was initially confirmed for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 but, recently, Ubisoft announced that a Wii U edition was also set to appear this year.

After hearing some details yesterday about the ways the game uses the Wii U GamePad in order to deliver new experiences, Ubisoft has now posted an actual gameplay video showing off Blacklist on the Wii U.

Players will be able to interact with the GamePad during their missions by selecting targets or controlling the trirotor drone, but they can also check out the progress of their friends in the game.

Check out the impressive video above and look forward to the release of Splinter Cell: Blacklist in August.
