New Sony HuaShan (C530X) Model Leaks, Coming in 2013

There are plenty of leaks suggesting Sony Mobile readies two high-end smartphones for Q1 2013, the Yuga and Odin.

However, the folks over at XperiaBlog have just uncovered new details regarding a new mid-range smartphone, which is expected to arrive on the market in 2013.

Codenamed Sony HuaShan, the smartphone’s model number is C530X, though it will be launched in various regions with different numbers (C5302, C5303, C5306).

For the time being, only the Chinese release of the smartphone is confirmed, but Sony fans are likely to be able to grab this one from most countries.

There’s no word on the phone’s specs sheet, but the EXIF data extracted by XperiaBlog suggests the handset runs firmware version 12.0.A.0.273, just like Sony C650X Odin. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
