14 DAY TRIAL // A new snapshot for the upcoming Opera 12 has been rolled out by the Norwegian developer. Unlike the previous one, which introduced a new algorithm for delivering suggestions in the address bar, this one takes care of bugs and issues.
Build 1272 for Opera Next integrates all of the remaining fixes from Opera 11.61 stable and repairs several crashes. It also fixes a problem with the spell checker and the address field, which would lose focus on restart when installing extensions with a toolbar button.
Also fixed in this release is the quick find problem in Bookmarks manager, which would not work when a folder is selected in the left column before performing a search.
The browser would crash on Mac systems when re-closing already closed windows or upon zooming with datalist suggestion box open. On Windows, mouse cursor would not be reset to default after right-clicking.
