Development on Opera 12.01 continues with the release of a new snapshot that delivers more fixes for issues identified after the official launch of Opera 12.

The changelog is quite rich in entries that announce repairs for the built-in email client. Crashes and misbehaviors such as inserted image in e-mail compose not showing up, impossibility to sort messages by subject or mail-related freezes have been dealt with and the fixes will be incorporated in the next official build.

Apart from this, the developer also eliminated crash issues related to themes, caused by resizing a semi-restored tab or occurring after dragging tabs that were stacked.

Additional problems solved in this release include favicons being squeezed too much when many tabs are opened, notifications not being displayed after disabling “Special effects.”
