Not long after Apple made the big announcement, accessory makers Marware and Belkin immediately crafted out protective cases for the new iPhone 3G. If you're convinced you're getting the new
device the moment it hits a nearby outlet, you might as well order your sleeve now. Whose is it going to be: Marware's, or Belkin's?

Marware's C.E.O. Sleeves are recognized for their elegance, but also usability. The new slim, attractive leather sleeve for iPhone 3G "combines elegant protection and quick access to the iPhone 3G," the company says. "This case is uniquely designed to appeal to the more discriminating, style-conscious wearer."

The C.E.O. Sleeve for iPhone 3G is made of soft Nappa leather. The cover works well on a belt or in a purse or bag, Marware claims, while the elastic siding provides a snug fit. The open top provides easy access to the device.

Marware claims it has used its patented Multidapt low-profile belt clip for the C.E.O. Sleeve for iPhone 3G. This makes the sleeve comfortable, convenient, interchangeable, and easily removable. The open top was designed so that it doesn't obstruct access to the headphone minijack and sleep/wake button.

Main features include:

- Soft leather iPhone protection with microfiber interior;
- Stylish perforated design accents with contrast stitching;
- Interchangeable Multidapt low-profile belt clip;
- Elastic siding for a snug fit;
- Easy access to headphone minijack and sleep/wake button.

As a bonus, Marware is throwing in a clear protective film and microfiber cleaning cloth to clean your iPhone 3G's glossy screen.

Priced at $24.99, Marware's C.E.O. Sleeve for iPhone 3G is immediately available for purchase.

Belkin's iPhone 3G Cases are primarily leather. On top of the Belking case regnum is the Leather Flip Folio, priced at $35. It sports a holster, a pocket for extra storage, a lid fastener and magnetic closure.

Non-fabric cases include the Silicone Sleeve, priced at $25, the Micro Grip ($25) and Clear Acrylic ($30). Particularly, the Micro Grip case features a textured rubber exterior, providing a better grip for the user. A Slim Fit case or a Sport Armband Plus case can also be acquired for 30 bucks.
