The mythical land of Skyrim is filled with peculiar moments

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released almost a month ago and, since then, has delighted gamers not just through the huge amount of content and amazing adventures it delivered to the protagonist, but also through some of the most hilarious bugs or glitches ever found in a game made by Bethesda.

Given that Skyrim is such a huge game, with a wide open world and lots of things to do, it was pretty obvious that some problems would leak through the quality assurance and testing process.

Fortunately, at least before patch 1.2 was released, lots of these bugs and glitches only resulted in some hilarious moments for players on the PC, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 editions of the game.

We’ve already showed off some of the funniest ones we could find a couple of weeks ago but lots of new videos have popped up on YouTube, some showcasing even more outrageous behavior from the likes of dragons, companions or the various animals and monsters from the game.

As such, follow us once again as we highlight some of the most hilarious glitches and bugs from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as well as a few exploits to help make your life in the game’s virtual world that much simpler.

First up, we have a video called ‘Just an ordinary day in Skyrim’ in which an NPC (non playable character) rides a horse in a pretty peculiar way. What’s more, when a bear attacks the horse and his rider, the resulting combat is definitely worth a watch.

Next up, a crafty player found a way to call in some back up when trying to take down a mammoth. No, he didn’t get a companion or summon a creature from Oblivion, as he just used a dragon shout to call in a friendly dragon that starts fighting with the other giant beast. While it’s not quite a full blown glitch, the resulting battle is still fun to watch.

Here we have another crafty player who decided to kill a dragon with one single attack. After unlocking the assassin perk and obtaining quite a lot of special items, including Dark Brotherhood gloves or an enchanted dagger, he surprised a dragon and killed him with one simple shot.

Lydia is definitely one of our favorite companions from Skyrim, but we did wonder how she stayed in shape while accompanying us throughout our adventures. It turns out, she’s very good at swimming, not just in actual water but also in the air, as she often decides to swim instead of walk on solid ground. Don’t believe us? Take a look at the video below.

Last but not least, we have a rather peculiar encounter with a dragon, probably after the player installed patch 1.2, with the massive beast pulling off all sorts of awkward moves, including the backwards flying one we already saw last week.

That’s it for now, but you can bet that more such hilarious Skyrim glitches will be found and uploaded to YouTube in no time. Until then, be careful when adventuring into the game’s world and protect your knees from any stray arrows.
