The new LG GB210 is yet another cheap music-oriented handset recently announced by the Korean mobile phone maker, following the release of the LG GM200, a device that was spotted in the wild last week, also including music features and coming towards users as a rather affordable phone in a candybar form factor.

LG Electronics unveiled the new LG GB210 just recently, and announced that the device was on its way towards Ukraine. The handset sports a candybar form factor too and includes simple features, the first of which that is worth mentioning being its speaker, meant to offer users good-quality sound. The multimedia player that the handset comes with is able to support a range of media file types, including MP3, AAC, AAC +, MPEG4 and H.263.

Although the new LG GB210 only comes as an entry-level mobile phone, it still looks good. Among the capabilities that it comes with we can count dual-band GSM (900/1800 MHz) connectivity, as well as support for GPRS. The handset also includes a 1.77-inch TFT display that is able to offer a 128 x 160 pixel resolution.

The specification list of the new candybar device also includes Bluetooth connectivity, along with WAP 2.0, and 4MB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot that can offer up to 4GB of additional storage space. When it comes to dimensions, the LG GB210 measures 106.2 x 46 x 13.8 mm.

According to the news, the new mobile phone is expected to become available in Ukraine in early May, with a price tag set at 950 UAH (around €90 or $120). The company hasn't so far said anything about the availability of the device in other countries, but it is expected to come to more European markets as well in the near future.
